okey dokey Emma, I'm ordering now. Re the walking - I think it would best if you did not walk (except round and round the garden) but if Ash has no symptoms he could but keeping the required 2 meters space between him and anyone he meets. Luckily the lanes round here are just over 2m wide!
2 bags of wholemeal rye doves farm please x
Maddy yes please would love some flour if I’m not too late, will look now.
That’s amazing thanks Roxanne! It’s perfect 💕 Unfortunately they can’t eat veggie scraps- back in the day people used to feed them but they’re unsuitable. Weeds are all they can eat or dark kale at a push. I was wondering about walking the dog, it’s an important part of my day, but wasnt sure what the rules were. I’m fairly sure this isn’t covid, but of course going to follow the rules anyway. Once we’re out of quarantine you’re welcome to bring the boys over to visit the tortoises 🐢 x
I started coughing last night so our family is now in lockdown for 14 days. We are totally blessed to have land in such a beautiful location to isolate in, I can’t imagine being stuck in a flat in a town! We have Riverford deliveries and Milk and More, and make our own bread- although running out of flour! My struggle will be managing my 3 children (under 7) single handed as although Ash is now working from home, he is a key worker often in his office for 14 hours a day. I plan to decorate our window in the next couple of days 💕 We have 4 tortoises and I have depleted my garden of weeds, if anyone wants to leave sow thistle (there’s loads of this along the road in WF and in the play patch and football field), dead nettle, plantain or dandelion, the torts and I would be everso grateful. I usually pick weeds on my dog walks. Happy to help others once we are out of isolation.

We are so lucky to live in Witham Friary. Many of us have gardens, we have the play patch and the recreational field as well as quiet lanes and muddy footpaths, but can we enjoy these without risking passing on CONFID-19 to those who are in the vulnerable groups - people over 70, people with long tern health problems or suppressed immune systems and pregnant women. This will be especially important next week once the schools have closed. Ideas on a post card please. How about a village art gallery - childrens art work in their windows. The rest of us can then visit and enjoy 'the gallery'. (thanks Emma Thornley-Davies.
