WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?
Small refills. Big difference. Right here in our village.
If every household in the UK refilled just one item a week, together we could avoid more than 1.4 billion pieces of single-use packaging every year.
Refilling means using the bottles and containers we already have, reducing unnecessary packaging and buying only what we need — which can be better for the planet and our pockets.
And when we do it together, it’s also a simple way to make sustainable living easier, more affordable and more connected to our community.
Set up by the Sustainable Witham Friary Group, with support from the Parish Council, Denude Refill station in Frome and space generously provided by the Village Hall, it gives everyone in and around the village an easy way to refill everyday essentials, reduce packaging, save money and support local produce.
It will be run by volunteers, and we’d love your help! Please email sustainablewitham@gmail.com if you have any questions or would like to volunteer.

Each product is charged per 100ml.
COMMUNITY LARDER
Alongside eco-friendly toilet roll and kitchen paper, we want our larder to celebrate what’s grown, made and shared locally.
Have surplus vegetables, fruit, flowers, eggs, jams or chutneys? We’d love to hear from you.
WANT TO GET INVOLVED?
This only works if we make it happen together.

Refills will be card payments, and depending on who has supplied larder products these may need cash payments.
